Lily is a 35-year-old Atlantic bottlenose dolphin living at SeaWorld Orlando. She was captured on August 13, 1983 by New York Aquarium, and sent to the aquarium on that day. On July 26, 1991, Lily was sent to Baltimore Aquarium. She returned to New York Aquarium on May 13, 1992. On November 9, 1992, Lily was sent to SeaWorld Orlando. In 1994, Lily gave birth to a calf in Orlando, but it soon died. On February 24, 1998, Lily gave birth to Calli, sired by Lester rather than Ralph. Belle sired Tiger on August 20, 2000. In 2003, she gave birth to a stillborn calf sired by Duncan. Potter was born to Hekili on July 15, 2005. On October 8, 2007, Lily gave birth one last time to Lagos. Lagos died on June 5, 2015 at SeaWorld Orlando. In November of 2016, Lily was sent to Discovery Cove alongside her adopted daughter, Starla. On January 30, 2017, however, Lily lost her battle to oral cancer, which had killed Jenny just six months prior. Lily was euthanized when she could no longer be treated.
